Big Sale Coming Soon - UPDATED 04-09-25 (01 Apr 2025)
I went on and published the Big Sale Page. It is on the main menu, mega menu, and off canvas menu.
The Big Sale isn't yet officially on but we do sell parts every day. There's still a lot of work and organizing to here do before that happens let alone the Spring rush is here. As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts here lately and the new page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything...
It will probably happen sometime in May or June. If anyone needs a part we will most likely have it and plenty of them. I'll keep everyone posted as things progress.
What's everybody doing?

I just recently found out one of my neighbors cleans buildings, houses, etc. He came up today and made everything clean again and did a nice job. The cleaners continue to clean and after a few rains it will get even better, he did a nice job. If I knew how cheap these guys were I would have had him do it long ago, he did give me a really good discount too.

Someone also called and picked up the 2 Amana PTAC units I had on CL today. The hole is temporary sealed inside and out. My friend Kevin is coming up this weekend so fixing it permanently will be one of the things we do. Now I need to order another mini split for the waiting area and get everything ready for it. Never a lack of things to do around here...

Also rebuilding my old trusty coil framing nailer. It acted up in 2003 and I ordered a complete kit to rebuild it back then but by the time the kit got here it straightened itself out. So here we are a little over 21 years later finally using the rebuild kit. You can see the dates from August 2003 on the parts and the box they came in. Good thing it sat around here for so long I guess, all the parts are made in USA.

There's a lot of rain coming in tonight and tomorrow morning so I've been working on getting the hardwood pile cut up and put away today. The 2 small pallets are done and some off of the bigger pallet. The big pallet is going to make a lot more of it than I thought but that's ok, it will be a lot of heat.
There's a lot in the small garage and a pretty nice pile going on in the shop. I brought what I was working on around dark to unload in the morning. I figured I can burn it in the mornings to warm up the place more without using the mini split so much.

I've mentioned before I use a thing called Honey that gives me price tracking over the past 30-120 days and emails me when there's a deal. It's here - Honey link It's free and automatically shows up on sites after you join + tell it to watch things on sites.
The only other things done around here besides normal work is the wood rack has more hardwood on it and waiting for another warm day to finish what's left on the pallet outside. It's been cold here lately so I've been hiding out in the shop mostly.

Today was 55 and partly sunny and tomorrow a nasty cold front is coming in, it will be mostly below freezing for the next 15 days. I will be staying inside to avoid becoming a meat pop sickle...
Since it was warm today and I usually take the first few weeks of Jan mostly off to do taxes and other little things I decided to bring in my heavy trailer to do some long overdue work on it. The tractors are unloaded and it's in the shop. It's gonna get some maint, a new jack, new lights, maybe some paint, some other little things, and a removable winch put on the front to get ready to move all the tractors and stuff in the barn at the farm up here.
Time for some more fun trailer mods.

Other than that it's still a Winter wonderland outside, staying cold and cloudy all day for awhile. It's supposed to be 38 and partly cloudy on Sunday so maybe some of it will go away then.
