Spent the 1st 3 days this week redoing the so called paint booth that's no longer a paint booth... A lot of stuff was moved out of that room and some fastenal fixture parts came in the shop.
It's gonna be a storage room for now, air lines and lights are off the wall and there are 6 new Fastenal fixtures back there. The lowest shelf started up higher so things like the air jack in one pic, transmission jacks, engine stands, etc can go under them making a ton of room in the center. The bigger shelves made a lot of room for better organizing, some shelves are still empty, and the center has a lot of room now to get more things out of the shop.
It's not done yet but may get mostly done tomorrow if things are quiet. It's been 75-80 outside for most of this week so the past few days were spent enjoying the weather and working around outside.

I skim the headlines on Yahoo news early every morning and evening when I get back in the house. I just ran up on this one and took a screenshot. There was no need to read this article, and most peeps that come here already know the answer...
There was also no need to test or conduct a study for this one, the answer is yes, yes and YES.

Gained a little more room today moving around a lot of stuff. There were 12 4' wide x 3' tall rolling shelves in the shop taking up a lot of space. 3 of them were put back together to 6' tall units so now there are 6 - 6' tall units (3 were already in the shop) and 6 - 3' tall units. Some of the other 6' units were already turned into mobile tire racks. They take up a little more space but it's worth it considering they're now easy to move. Every little bit helps...
I also took a minute early this morning to smooth up and dye the Wheel Horse bagger piece, it turned out pretty nice.

When moving things around last week I found one in the back we restored years ago and got it out to clean up and sell. The next day someone came in and saw it and his 6 year old son fell in love with it. We moved the seat up and made another rod to move the stirrups back for him. The lift assy had to be removed to do it but they wanted it that way anyway. The stirrups moved back also make a nice step for him to get on and off of the tractor. It's all shined up and ready to go, they're picking it up today.

Everything having to do with the move and associated tractors from this "What's Everybody Doing" topic has been moved. It is all now in the "Wheel Horse Section" under "Tractors". The topic was "The Big Move" but has been renamed "The Big Move + Parting" to reflect the posts.
Now this little venture will be easier for me and everyone else to keep up with in the future.

Sold some big 2' x 2' x 4' HD shop drawer assys on CL yesterday that were in the 4 car garage, made another bit of space in there.
I took this morning to list a lot more stuff on CL, none of it WH. Some 275 gal fuel tanks, 2 Century 200 gal sprayer saddle tanks, a nice New Holland chopper 6' hay head, another 8' work bench, and some other things. They are taking up valuable tractor space...
It was a super nice day today so also mowed and weed eated everything today, and worked on some more tractor parting of course.

My friend Kevin was here last Sat so we did some other things. I did a little work on his Kubota floorboard that got beat up a little, and he helped me move some bigger things out of the small garage to the 4 car garage now that there's some more room out there. We could have done more but we ate way too much at the China Buffet and were moving a little slow...
Did a lot of lot rearranging and finally got the open side trailer with the 64 Tbird on it unhooked from the Dually today. It's been hooked up in my turn around up here for a month. Now it's in front of the shop so peeps can see it going down the highway. Maybe some one will see it now and stop to ask about it, it is for sale. Just another project I'll never get to...
The Dually bed still had stuff in it and it got unloaded. It had a 15KW PTO 3 phase generator, 7.5 HP silo unloader motor, and the crossbeam setup to hold the 2-200 gallon saddle spray tanks that I have on CL. The main square tube is 5' x 4" x 3/8", a real expensive piece of steel that may be the beginning of the Dually rear bumper I've been wanting to make for many years.
The box of deck lift rods + trunnions I found the other day got taken apart, the broken but cleaned up slot hitch got painted and put on the zero turn, and the good one off of it put in stock. And about 20 other little things. Every day more gets done + organized so I can get ready for the sale and find stuff.

Been trying to finish up a few little things here and there. There was some siding down in the barn that came up here with the big move so it was time to fix the hole in the wall from the old heat pump that just had a piece of white plywood stuck over it.
Started on it last night and finished it up this morning. The pain of it was saving the under + over lips that were nailed on, that took awhile. This siding isn't exact and the piece I had was a little wider so the lips on the existing piece nailed to the wall and the new piece had to be cut down. The good thing is the lips are pretty wide so it wasn't a problem. After the paint dries overnight I can put the trim back on and it will be like the old heat pump was never there.
Last 2 pics are the monsoon we got yesterday afternoon. It seems like we can't get normal rain anymore. When that hit there was a severe thunderstorm warning with risk of damaging winds, large hail, flooding, and tornadoes, again...

The daily monsoon passed through a few hours ago, again... Looks like there will be more tomorrow and then another one or more Sat.
The pics although they look similar to yesterday are from today. After it cleared up I got a few pics of what looks like a Cicada hanging out munching on a leaf outside the shop door.

Started working on a new piece of equipment, or tool today. I have 3 peeps waiting on me to finish this as of now that want to buy rearends, one of them was here yesterday so I'm switching gears again, pun intended. I don't want to sell one without testing it first so I guess this will be a Wheel Horse transmission tester...
I'll start a post in the Tools + Equip section on it later.
I want to make it out of all Wheel Horse parts minus the motor + speed control. I think it will be really cool and will definitely come in handy not only to check one before it's sold but to check one out that I've worked on before it goes or gets put back on a tractor.
