What's everybody doing?

My main cord reel these days near the bolt bins needed the spring tightened up for a long time so I got it done this morning. There are a bunch of these in the shop, old Craftsman 30' with 3 outlets, most of them are around 25 years old and made in USA, gotta keep them going.

I was looking for something this morning I knew I had somewhere (everyone knows that feeling) and when I found it there were 2 big boxes of wiring harness' the back air compressor room (where they don't belong) along with another big box of wiring stuff. I already have a spot for this kind of stuff so I got side tracked and started parting out and organizing wiring pigtails so I can find something electrical the next time I need it, and free up some more valuable shelf space... Most of it got thrown away because it's something made new here already but some of it is really good and worth keeping, or oddball stuff. One day I may know where everything is at,,, or not lol.

Didn't get much done around here today, been down at the farm helping dad with some things, and hanging out with my tax man for awhile getting my taxes finished up and sent off.

Helped dad cut down an old Locust tree near the garage yesterday but it started raining before we got done, gonna finish it up tomorrow. He wants to do a million things but I have a few things I have to do too, gotta get this 88 year old to relax a little bit lol.

Project for today will be a hitch for the front of the GT. I will weld it onto an Attach-A-Matic. Should have made on years ago to park my trailers and move my log slitter around.

Sand blast and paint today, pictures will follow.

Dad's coming up in a few minutes and we're headed behind the shop to drop about a dozen trees on the ground from an old fence line. Been meaning to do this for years and years but have only been doing a little at a time over the past 27 years... I vowed to finish some things around here this year and this is one of the things on the list. It needs to be done before before they leaf out and make more of a mess.

11 of them are dropped so far and I got a start on cutting them up a little. It was a nice relaxing can't hear the phone ring sunny 70 degree day.

Ok got the hitch done! Tomorrow I will give it a test.
