I always underestimate how long it will take to undo the damage I do by taking short cuts. I may never learn. :rolling2 :dalek

Sometimes it works out for good though GT. We find the weak spots in equipment, then beef it up to make it better and do what we need it to do. :smile2

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

Cool Nappy. :cool It's always amazing to see old pics and the way things used to be, it also shows the changes, new equipment and improvements since then. :thumb1

The bucket work is all done. Considering how bent up and stretched it was I'm happy with the way it came out. I had some old Allis Chalmers orange sitting in the back so it will do for a base coat until I can get some Kubota orange. :smile2

Yea I have taken that approach many times, usually attempting to do something the equipment was not designed for.

That's our nature lol, if we can find a way to use something for what it wasn't designed for that's one more thing it can do, and one less thing we have to buy, or have sitting around taking up more space. :laughing

I've been out catching up on yard work and some other things. I have a small list to get done before I have to go back to the dentist this coming Monday. I also vowed this year that I'm not constantly airing up tires any more. :tounge2 They will either get fixed or in the case of my generator it got the 10" version of the 6" wheel that was used on the 60" decks for the 520's. They hold up to 650lbs each and will never go flat. One more thing off the list. :smile2 :woo

More nasty storms coming in tonight and tomorrow so it was mowing + weed eating day. It was a really nice Spring day, 76 and partly cloudy with a light breeze. :smile2

While I was out mowing I noticed the back porch was looking kinda neglected. There was a hose reel on the back porch that the paint was coming off of it and started leaking several years ago so I took it apart and found a split in a soldered on cap. It's on the piece with the hex and the bend in it on the bottom left of the pic. The waspies think it's a good home as well :doh so the reel got removed and the main part blasted. After it's painted tomorrow I can still use it where it was to put hose stuff and sprayers on the shelf and hang the new self expanding /shrinking hoses on it. There were also 2 pieces of outdoor wall art or whatever you call it on the back porch that the paint was coming off so they got blasted and will get painted tomorrow as well. I don't quite know how to act with the place getting fixed back up again lol. :tounge2

Very nice here yesterday. Pressure washed the whole camper and made some trim repairs, mowed the lawn and did some repair to several bad spots. Now the rain will get the grass seed going today.
