Thanks GT.
I was amazed at all the people who were out along the way. Nice to see there are some patriots still out there.

I am mowing and mowing and mowing lol. I mowed everything here 3 days in a row in different directions last week to get it all looking like it did before the surgery. I also just got done mowing again today before the next batch of rain comes in.
Seems like we went from a drought to the extreme rainy and flood season all of a sudden. None of those 1/2 - 1" rains either... We get hit with 3" then 4" then 3" more, last Sat was almost 4" and more coming tonight and tomorrow. Some of you may have seen it in the news, KY is one of the states just floating away.

I've seen those setups but most peeps put them on the splitter. I like your setup better because you can use it anywhere even to load the trailer, nice job. :goodjob
You are however cutting yourself out of some good exercise lol.
I was at the dentist all morning getting the teeth refit and by the time I got back, made a late lunch and got all the garbage rounded up so they could pick it up tomorrow and talked to dad for awhile it's almost quitting time... Oh well, tomorrow's another day. :smile2

I started on cleaning up the stumps in the old fence row a few days ago, not as easy as I thought... I'm saving the easy non Hackberry 1 hour ones till last. One Hackberry is done, 2 more of them remain and they were all big ones. The big problem is the roots that grow individually so far out away from the tree, and all the rocks they've grown around and into. I have to do a lot of chain sharpening between each one and try to dig down and get the rocks out with an iron digger as I find them, not a lot of fun. The other bad thing is there's no nice 80 degree weather like they predicted the first of the week, it's been in the 90's every day with very little to no wind... The weather peeps surely aren't worth much anymore...
The bed full of branches and stumps in the dually was unloaded again yesterday and almost all of the other trees are trimmed, and all of the stumps behind the East side of the shop are done. Slowly but surely I'm getting somewhere,,, I think lol. I think I've had enough of that for this week so I'm gonna sharpen up the chains again and piddle in the shop a little after lunch and prob quit a little early today. :smile2

Thanks Geno, I originally designed it for loading the trailer but realized it would work for the splitter as well. Here is a little video of the drum brake I made for the winch. When you free wheeled the cable it would "bird nest".
