Same old, same old, 10 more hours of Tiffin parts sorting.   A lot of finished stuff was put up, the springs and keys were sorted and put up today, and it's off to a ton of o-rings.  I've been saving them until there's more bench space and I knew these would take awhile.  After they found out what they were from Wheel Horse they started buying them in bulk from other suppliers so everything has to be figured out and matched up when possible.  Every Air Horse was Hydro so you can imagine they had an arsenal of o-rings.  Sunstrand and Eaton parts and complete rebuild kits for both, cylinder repair kits, and everything to fix any hydro leak I think.  There's another big box as well that I'm trying to tag as I look up parts and diagrams.  I got a good start on them today and maybe they will be done tomorrow.  If It ever gets all sorted it will be nice...

Other than that still waiting for ice to go away...

Just a broken record here, 10 more hours of Tiffin sorting.     As I suspected most of the extra seals in bags were o-rings that were bought separately for rebuilding cylinders, valves, and some are for the tug.

Seals were finished up today and just got the next bunch of stuff on the bench to start on in the morning.

I'll give you 1 guess as to what I've been doing today.

When I was checking parts I see prices on what little is still available.  The first pic is a lever for the 65-79 and SK-486 in 80-82 for the hood latch.  I saw the price and thought it was an error so I looked at 4 of the popular places.  I quickly found out these peeps have absolutely lost their marbles.

On a good note I am around 85% done going through Tiffin parts and should finish Monday.  I spent a lot of time making notes to put in the bags on a lot of them lately and not just verifying part numbers.  The tug parts will all just get put on a shelf by themselves, I know what they all do so I'm saving them for last.  They are also all at the bottom of the box and heavy.

I found a used hour meter in the mix and had to take a pic.  I'm a huge sci-fi guy and only one thing came to mind...  Someone get ahold of Starfleet...

Things are thawing some but at the same time everything is turning to more of a solid sheet of ice.  There's also still a few feet of snow pushed up along the highway here.

The last pics are the last round of parts that were done and what's left in the box minus things in other places that I'm not sure of the part numbers.  I've filled the bench and cleared it several times already but hopefully the next time will be the last.  I'm already over 60 hours into this but there are a lot of rare parts and nice parts.  They're all verified and have notes with them that will pay off in the future.  I'm out of space again so tomorrow will be clearing the bench again and starting the next round.

Today was a bunch of nuts, bolts, screws, + misc things along with putting up a lot of the mess that was on the bench.

I moved the Dually + Escalade and began a 4 hour workout with the Kubota this afternoon after it warmed up.  It was an ice rink out there and I just wanted to get some blacktop showing so the Sun could do most of the work.  A  lot of up and down the drive as things melted a little in between 2 hours of digging out the ice 3' tall and 3' on the roadway in front of the mailbox from the snow plows.  Schools have been closed and there's been no mail since this mess came in.  It was almost 60 today and supposed to be around 70 tomorrow so I'm hoping I can get the drive back to normal and start getting mail again before it cools back down and goes below freezing tomorrow night...

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I've left the property and I'm gonna try to get out and do some errands and get some food someone else made for a nice change.

The Tiffin experience is almost done, the drive and open space in the lot is clear, the mailbox is accessible, and the Kubota is put back in the other garage.     I even got out for the first time in 3 weeks to run errands, get some B1G1 free sausage egg biscuits (with Mcd surveys on receipts) to put in the fridge for the next few days, and grab some Little Caesars Pizza that took care of lunch for today and the next 3 days.  My friend Kevin is coming up this Sat so Sat will be our customary find a buffet somewhere so I won't have to make anything till Sunday.

I started going through some misc Tiffin stuff today, some decals, some more wiring harness', and the icing on the cake axles and hub setups for the Air Horse.  There were 3 different axle lengths used depending on the transmission.  The longer axles and larger hubs were custom made just for Tiffin.  They put the axles in the transmission and the hubs on after they got the tractor.  You can also see that the hubs meant business, they are monsters.  With all the other rebuild, pressure adjusting parts, rebuild kits, and other auto (or hydro) parts everything needed for an Air Horse is in place and organized minus some metal parts that are NLA but can be made here.  For now it's on a 6 tier rolling shelf that will stay in the back of the shop until I figure out what to do with it.  The big problem now is the parts dept is overflowing with all the regular parts from them and I really need more space.  Having most everything I can think of NOS, some in large quantities, I should stop buying peeps out,,, but I just can't resist.

Spring is coming and peeps are already getting ready.  I can't wait myself but Feb is looking pretty good now.  Feb is usually the coldest month here but starting this week it looks like 50-70 for the rest of the month, unless it changes of course...

Someone came by yesterday and bought the New Holland chopper hay head I had on CL, and someone is coming after the 2-200 gallon Century spray tanks next week.  I need to get them out from behind the Shop on the concrete pads Sat while Kevin is here to help and get them on the blacktop.  After that all the farm equip I had on CL that dad gave me will be sold.

I finished up the Tiffin stuff yesterday and put it all away or on the Tiffin cart today.  It sure feels really good to have all of that mess out of the way and organized.  I still don't know what a few things are so they went in boxes on the Tiffin cart.  I found a bunch of Made in USA Wheel Horse bulbs, I don't think I've seen any bulbs made here since I was a teenager and that was a while ago lol.
