Big Sale Is On - UPDATED 03-36-26
The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

Weather channel is calling for up to 2 feet of snow here Sat + Sunday, then Mon night will be 1 deg and bitterly cold for over a week so it will be on for awhile. I'm not getting out in this stuff or cleaning the drive, I've had mild frost bite before and it's not worth it... I'm just gonna work in the shop and keep warm, plenty to do in the shop already and the peace and quiet never hurt anyone.
It's been 2 weeks today since I've been off the property so going out this morning to fill some gas cans, groc shop, and get my weekly (or biweekly this time) meal out.
I don't think you'll be getting it as bad as we are Nappy as it is clashing up from the Southwest this time but if you get out in the cold be careful and keep warm.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
I can't see the forest for the trees.

I hope the weather man is way wrong and it is warm and sunny...
I updated the WHS Parts page, made a post in the Announcements Section, and started a new Air Horse Page on the site. The menu links are also at the top Main Menu, Mega Menu, and off canvas menu. I know it was fast but I'm pretty excited lol.
Since you were ready for the blizzard Nappy I thought maybe I should be ready too, even if it's just making a nice path to the house. I was too lazy to put something on a Wheel Horse so I just got the Kubota out of the other garage and brought it in the shop...

There is a new Air Horse Section under the Wheel Horse Main section. The Air Horse posts are moved in there now and some sub categories made. Still a lot to do but it's a good start.
Worked on checking, blasting off surface rust, labeling, and categorizing the Tiffin parts. I think it may take a week to do it all. Trying to read numbers on some of this stuff is almost impossible. Did find a lot of interesting parts though that I didn't think would be in the lot. Most of the inventory tags are from the beginning of 1985 so they've had this stuff for over 40 years.
Some of these pics are in the Members Only Section so some of you have seen them. There was a post put in there when the negotiations got started. Some are from today, the stuff on the welding bench was a box full of transmission hard parts, and some tug parts, less than 5% of whats there as far as part numbers go that got started on today.

Watching the trees glisten in the sun, and the clear blue cold sky, at least the power stayed on.
Work on cleaning up, numbering, sorting, and bagging Tiffin parts for 10 hours today. I may get done by the end of the week.
I'll be starting a post in the Air Horse Section soon of the Tiffin parts so I can more easily keep up with that stuff in the future.

10+ more hours blasting and sorting through Tiffin stuff. Almost halfway done. If I could trust part numbers on things more I could go a lot faster... First pic is a 106441 seal, there is no 106441 seal, but there is a 106441 isolator for the cradle mount engines. I saw a bag of them in the Tiffin box labeled bushing so I dug them out and relabeled them, the seals really were a 100441. I've found quite a few things miss labeled so every part is being verified with a pic from Toro or elsewhere, or NOS parts I have already that have been verified in the past.
It's taking a lot of extra time verifying part numbers but if they aren't right it will cause a bigger mess later.
Some of the seals were easy and most of the bearings will be also. I found some new seal numbers, some GT14 front wheel seals, seals for the hydro pumps, and other seals that I need to add to the seal drawers up front. I love things with the original Wheel Horse numbers on them or still in sealed Wheel Horse packages. Makes things a lot easier.

The ice finally melted enough where I could get in the front pass side door of the Escalade. I got it turned around so the drivers side could be in the sun today and tomorrow and hopefully get it deiced. I ran it for about 2 hours and the hood and part of the wind shield slid off. The ice is so hard and thick you can see when one sheet hit the ground it didn't even break up... If I knew this I would have put it in the shop instead of the Kubota. The Kubota is heavy, has fluid filled tires and is 4WD but it still doesn't go well on ice.
We actually didn't get that much ice. We got a lot of snow that turned to rain then freezing rain and then it all froze solid. The truck doesn't even pack anything down when driving on it. What a mess.
Other than that almost 10 more hours on going through, cleaning, blasting, and organizing Tiffin parts today. I need to make sure I never buy any heavy 1" clip rings for the tractors, ever. There are about 200 in the pic not counting others around here.

Blades are easy but to put one on a 520 requires a few more pieces that I don't have right now. You need a rear mount for the tractor, then an extension for the blade to move it forward so it doesn't hit the front tires. After the blade is moved forward it takes another mid cross piece to move it back so it can be mounted to the lift, then a different handle just for the 520. If you can find the 520 specific 3 pieces they usually cost much more than the blade. They didn't make a blade just for the older 520's, just a regular blade with the addition of these 3 pieces makes it work. I told you 520's were a pain lol.
