Big Sale Is On - UPDATED 03-26-26
The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

Got to meet with someone to talk about Medicare options today... Maybe if I sign up with someone the telemarketers will quit driving me absolutely crazy. Some days there are 12-14 calls a day, wears me out cause I'm the don't call me I'll call you type...
Finished up some more painting on Carson's this morning, parts are coming in to rebuild another toilet that's 30+ years old from the house, and the upstairs heat pump that cools the entire house quit last night. I checked it out this morning and it's just the start capacitor. I ordered one on Amazon and it will be here tomorrow. It's a little 2 ton unit was put in early 2008 so it's done real well, this is it's first part on the unit. One bedroom upstairs is a loft open in the entry way and the whole house stays the same temp with just that little guy because cold air drops and the house is foam insulated like the shop.
The only thing the toilet really needs is the 30 year old flapper replaced but I figured everything else lasted long enough. It's super thick, heavy, and Made in USA, nothing like the cheap China stuff...

Took today to do some much needed repairs and misc stuff. Rebuilt the toilet, fixed the upstairs heat pump, put the old fridge back together to get all the old interior parts out of the house, mowed after almost 3 weeks again, did a little more tree trimming, and a bunch of other little things on the list. I get to enthralled with the Wheel Horse stuff and little loose ends and things I need to do don't get done. I need to quit a little earlier each day like 6pm instead of 7 or later and try to have a little time to do things like normal peeps do...

This is one of those days I think about running home screaming lol...
There is such a thing as too much business and I have to figure out how to slow it down. I've had this problem with every business I've owned, and I thank the Lord and am blessed to be sought after like this but I have to figure out where to draw the line. I did get Carson's sheet metal for the engine blasted early this morning then it went crazy. Peeps wanting tractors built, wanting parts, one that wanted to come to late today but it's too late so he's coming in tomorrow morning, voicemail messages that still have to be returned but it won't be today... I talked about this in my post here from last Sat and it's even more out of control today. I think someone is trying to help me realize it's time for some kind of plan to have at least a small life outside of work. My biggest problem is prob myself and not saying no or I don't have time enough.
I have things I need to do. One of them I would like is lunch... I didn't even get lunch 4 days last week, or today and my stomach is growling right now. I am hungry and need to at least eat and I like my pant size and don't want it going down more... I also love mowing and it would be nice to mow more than every 3 weeks. All I want is mostly necessities that every one else takes for granted lol.
I think I'm leaving now and going to make something to eat.

Another wild day, last 2 peeps just left and it's 7:53, or less than 40 mins to bed time that I need to wind down. I'll try to get updates on Carson's tomorrow afternoon. Got more done but pics are still on camera and time to run again...

I returned all the phone calls for the past few days and I'm running for the truck.
I need a little time away so I'm going groc shopping and wander around away from here until lunch time.

Turned a hub for someone, it was up against a rearend at some point and had hammer marks on the outside. Not sure how the outside got the center cut back it has on the outside but it's still a good hub.
Spent the rest of the day catching up on blasting little things and a motor for someone inbetween phone calls. The new trolley in the blaster made it a lot easier to do and held it no problem.
