What's everybody doing?

Got a few other things done while waiting for paint to dry on Bob's 414 wheels, especially the 1 hour + between the gray and metallic.  There are several pics of the process and an explanation in his post.  I need the mill for another project so I dug out all the steering supports I had on a shelf in the back and they are all bored and ready for bushings.  There are prob more around here, but the 9 I knew where they were is plenty for now.  The tiller is also all laid out, gasket surfaces re-cleaned, and ready to go back together, finally.    I'm hoping that will be a job that gets done tomorrow, I'm gonna need that bench for other things next week.

 

Got all the Kohler engine service manuals in the Wheel Horse section today under the new Engines - Engine Manuals section.  It will make them extremely easy to find for everyone and they are all in PDF format so anyone can download them from anywhere.  No limit, no registration, money, or support needed either, oops did I say that out loud...

Also got a lot done on Andres Air Horse today.  Still have to get the pics in there but I'll do that soon.  

My friend Kevin is coming up tomorrow to work on his C120 some more and help me with a few little things, and go to the Pizza buffet...   

Bob picked up his 414 today and was very happy with it.  After he left I played with the Air Horse a little.  I have a lot of pics of it and the work done on it in between other things over the past few weeks but I'll start on posting them next Mon.  I'm trying to get in a little earlier and it's now going on 6:30 Geno time lol. 

Here are a few pics of the train wreck, some blasting + cleanup work, and the beginning of figuring out how the hydro steering will be redone.

The new bushings arrived yesterday for the steering support project along with some other samples.  I updated the post of the rebuilding of the steering supports as well.  The 2 in the pic that are not split are 7/8" od x 3/4" id and are press fit and will work in other places like the dash steering shaft bushing on older models, brake + clutch pedals, and lots of other things.  I also ordered a few more samples today.  Too many things go on in my head at once.  

Other than that just working on the Air Horse and other little things.   

 

Took a break today to do a lot of things around the shop and get ready for the potential blizzard and cold weather coming in for awhile this weekend.  The shop had become cluttered again so all of the mess was cleaned up, organized and put up and the benches cleared off and cleaned up again.  I had a small pile that needed to be blasted so that was done, and I did some maintenance, greasing, and adjusting of the carriage on the forklift that I've been meaning to do for a long time.  The dually also got checked over and gassed up in case it gets terribly bad and I have to get out for some reason, not that I get out that much...

sounds like we may get a lot of snow this weekend and i cant make up my mind of i should put the blade on the tractor.
