Big Sale Is On - UPDATED 03-36-26
The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

Enjoying a little peace + quiet. The drive has been roped off since last Thurs and I haven't opened it up yet.
I have a real mess of tractors stacked everywhere to get the space to do what was done. The back half will have to wait till next year, too much stuff to move back there.

My friend Kevin was here Saturday and we did a lot of work around the property and added some lights in the shop. I found these 4' dual bulb LED's that put out 250 watts and use 34 watts of electricity. They are super bright. One was added above the test bench work area and 2 over the welding table. The pics don't do them justice, they are really bright. If I did the entire shop with these it would be like the sun in here.
They are tapped into the first row and run off of a wireless switch for now. I may add a few more where I work the most, we'll see.
I finally put everything up sitting on the big welding bench today, that was way overdue. The new Klutch welding table is sitting behind the bench and can be used when needed then put away again. When Jeremy's truck shows up soon to get the rolling chassis done I'll need the entire bench. It was 11' long with the bed and is prob around 9' - 9-1/2' without it.

I forgot to mention we moved the welding table back about 12" making a nicer path to the back and more room in the main work area. There was way too much room behind the table anyway. I should have done that a long time ago, oh well...

Waxed up the 414 and 314 today, getting ready to cover them up until next year. I ordered in 20 more of those blinding lights like above the welding table that came in today so that's another job to do. More light the better.
A lot of peeps have told me over the years that Krud Kutter is the best thing in the world so I ordered a gallon of it to try it out. They were right, nothing compares to this stuff. It took years of dried paint out of the floor cracks, divots, off the floor, removed black tire marks, and took a lot of other marks and stains off the floor that have been there for many many years. It also cleaned up the yellow on the floor mat way way easier than anything I've ever used before. Once I get it all clean with the Krud Kutter I'll use the other cleaners to maintain it for awhile and when they're gone I won't be using them anymore.
I posted the list of what this stuff cleans, it's mind boggling...

Yesterday was another crazy Monday. The phone was ringing when I walked in the door, someone from NC needing things, then the madness never stopped until a little after 7PM.
Tim picked up his C120 around 11am and said he will call in Dec to schedule when to bring it back for round 2 after mowing season is all done. That works out good because I'm pretty booked until then anyway. He also brought me a tiller to trade on some of the work on his C120. I have to do some work on the tiller as you can see in the pic but I can sell them as fast as I get them.
I told myself I wasn't gonna sell any tractors complete but I have someone closeby that wants to trade a 654 for a 700 Special, I have 3 of those and I guess I never said I wasn't open to trades for round hoods, I should put that on the sale page...
I also sold a complete sickle bar mower yesterday and some other things. A busy day but a really good day.
It was a lot quieter today so I got to finish up the new crane lift on the welding bench. I'll put the pics of the work on it in the Tool section in the morning, it's gotten late again... It's working great with the remote controls and will be a super nice addition to the place and a real back saver.

The 42SD deck Tim left here got parted out this morning, mowed the world, burned a ton of boxes and stuff, and got a start on the tiller I took in on trade from Tim today. It was one of the nastiest ones I've done but it was also the easiest to get the tines off. The input pulley is another story, I'll soak it for a few days then mess with it some more. Next time the steamer is out it will get cleaned up and I can work on it in my spare time.
I'll prob put up a post on it soon in the Attachments section to add to as it gets work. It will be getting a total tear down, checkout and restore.

The 42" deck parts that need to be steam cleaned are on a cart, the cleaner parts are all blasted and put up. The tiller cover is off but the big pulley is being really difficult. My friend Kevin is coming up tomorrow and we're gonna make a custom puller to get these big pulleys off without damage. I work on enough of them to warrant making a tool for them.
A Sheriff from Western KY was coming through here from Richmond, KY and stopped in. He's wanting to restore a 607 and needs a motor and a lot of parts (I have a complete 607), and he wants parts to build something custom WH and I have plenty of bare frames and all the stuff he needs to get that project going.
It's police week lol. The guy that bought the sickle bar yesterday is KY State police. He told me word is circulating through the Police at the county and State level now so I'll get to find out who the Wheel Horse loving police peeps are. A lot of them end up close to me when they all have to go to Richmond for training and such. I didn't know until today that the Sheriff peeps end up there for training on things. I guess it's good to have police peeps that are Wheel Horse peeps too. If I get enough of them maybe I can get away with driving faster...
I still have to start a topic on the tiller work and restore, maybe next week won't be so hectic.

I guess the cookouts are over with unless some things happen in the future with finding a bigger place, cookout person I can trust, etc. No room here to even park a few vehicles since the barn was cleared out and brought up here, most of the farm has been sold, my best friend and helper dad died, and my cookout friend died of cancer a few years ago. I guess it just wasn't meant to be for now.
Kevin brings things here that I help him with. All the equipment, steel, parts, etc are kind hard to move. Last Sat we made the puller, then after Pizza buffet lunch I stripped the bottom of one of his truck doors that was rusting under the door trim and repainted it. I usually don't get a lot of pics of what we do on Saturdays, we just go like the wind when we get together and before we know it it's time to quit...
