Big Sale Has Started - UPDATED 07-31-25 (01 Apr 2025)

As some of you know my dad passed away 2 months ago today, on May 31, 2025. I posted it in the Members Only section when it happened. Thanks to all of you who have offered kind words on the forum, with phone calls, and visits in person during this time.

The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. I don't have the manpower, or the desire to do a big event like originally planned, I just need to sell a lot of parts that are taking up too much space here. I have been told and believe we are overloaded with Wheel Horse parts like no one has ever seen. Peeps have already been coming in from different parts of the country and buying a lot of stuff due to seeing the sale page, and seeing we are the only Wheel Horse only business in the USA that does things on the scale we do. The sale will continue for awhile until I free up some more space but you may not want to wait too long as things are being sold every day and there are limits to how many of certain parts will be sold.

As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts and the Big Sale Page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything... This is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

Everything from yesterday and a few other pieces laying around were all degreased and blasted today.  There were some hammer + punch marks, and a little mushrooming on the plain shafts so the ends of all of them were cleaned up and polished on the lathe.  Everything turned out really nice.  I have a parts diagram with part numbers ready to label them and put them up tomorrow morning.

Someone is bringing a 414 that needs a lot of work tomorrow after lunch so it looks like I get a break from parting for a little while.  Maybe Sat will be a good steam cleaning day for the 414 coming in and other parts that need it.

The last round is bagged, tagged and put away.   The bench is cleared and ready to do a lot of work on a 414 that arrived this afternoon so the parting will slow for a little bit.  I could use the break from all of this stuck together parting type stuff...

Steam cleaned another shelf cart of parts yesterday.  Some parts like hubs, pulleys, front end pins and maybe the transmission case will get blasted and some will just get put on the pallet racks with other like parts.

Most of the parts in the last pic were just put up with other like parts, the only ones blasted were what's in the pics below.  2 of the hubs had spent time hitting the rearend so they got cleaned up on the lathe.  Hubs were the #1 seller last month so I try to keep a lot of them ready.  All of the parts blasted today are super nice and ready to go.

I have some nice cleaned up as well as NOS cases for automatics and 8 speeds but no 4 speeds so I decided to clean up the rough one I took apart a long time ago.  This is just another testament of how tough the Horses are.  The case cleaned up nice and every bearing and shift fork hole are as smooth as glass, of course doing them with aluminum shot helps a lot.

Just one more step in having every almost Wheel Horse part made in stock and ready to go.

Also started keeping more original Wheel Horse 7473 belts in stock for peeps that want original Made in USA belts.
