Still going like the wind...

Bigger part of the moving starts this Sat.  I've made all the space possible outside and it's a lot more than I thought.  Everything possible is also on the new plastic pallets and the old wood pallets are all gone minus 3 really long solid top + some new smaller ones from the new DG across the street.  Kevin is coming up early Sat with his 18' open trailer, my open trailer is hooked to the dually and ready, and another friend is bringing his long bed truck and will be using my 12' trailer.  The new winch setups I made are on mine + Kevins trailers so that will make things easier for tires that may not pump up, we can just drag them on.  Once they are here the forklift can handle the rest.   The Kubota is going to the farm to pull things out and the forklift can unload things here.  I think I have a pretty good plan.

I spent some time early this morning cutting up a Wheel Horse bagger top and taking a 62 frame with a custom door type hinge and chain holding the hood on apart...  Peeps bring this stuff here and give it to me to get rid of it and I'm trying to get better at dealing with those things sooner than later.  I've been meaning to do these 2 little things for years.  I wanted the Wheel Horse imprint on the bagger top to display somewhere, and the rest of it made some really good ABS plastic that I need sometimes.    It's supposed to cool a little and rain tomorrow so tomorrow + Friday will be spent making more room + organizing in the shop.

The big move began today...  I think we did pretty good and the winches on the trailers came in real handy.  Kev brought his 18' open side trailer up an another friend Ted was a big help.  There's stuff in the garages but the pics here are 60+ of them in the lot alone including the unloaded trailer.  A little over half the barn is emptied out but I have a 64 Thunderbird Special and a 51 custom rat rod convertible in the center isle keeping us from the rest of them.  A little more will get moved this week and we'll wrap it up next Sat.

There were 3 of us doing all this and we're all pretty sore from all the fun today.   There's plenty of time left next week and a lot of nice weather.

The 1st pic is Nappy's fav...

We got most of it last Sat but running out of room.  All of the trailers are still loaded and space is getting pretty thin...  I need to do a little rearranging this Tuesday when the weather is nice again and try to get the last of it.  There's a little room in the small garage, 4 car garage is pretty much full.  I plan to take the pile of frames in the 3rd pic apart but only got one of them in the shop last Sat, the rest of them are wet from the storms last night.  The 520 in the shop will get a 2 stage and cab on it and stay that way for Winter lot clearing.

I found a square seat and back rest along with a lot of other things I didn't know I had, now I can make the backrest since I have a pattern.  The milk cans are stamped Dairyman's League New York and were my Grandpa's.  The Easy Vac is complete, all the parts including the hookups, motor, vac, and hand held attachment is in the wagon.  It's easy to forget what you have when it's stored off site in a barn for 10 years...

For all of the nay sayers that thought or said I really didn't have all of the tractors I said I had, take a look, and there's plenty more in the garages lol...

Needless to say it's a sea of red around here.

It made it to 82 here today, pretty nice for beginning of April but it looks like we're gonna pay for it the next 4 days with thunderstorms, floods, possible tornadoes, large hail, high winds, etc.  We had the same thing last week...

Did some rearranging outside and inside today.  I got the welding tables back where they belong and brought in a few tractors from the farm inside to play with while the weather is bad rest of this week.  Worked on a really nice original 654 today minus the cutting up of the hood and Briggs engine...  It may be worth putting a motor + hood on it and restoring it, we'll see.  Took some things off the rear and got the broken and stuck slot hitch off.  I knew there was a broken one somewhere, it will get smoothed out and put on the zero turn in place of the new one so it doesn't grab my pant legs when getting on and off the front.  During the rearranging over the past few weeks it was nice to have my buried torch back out and ready to use.

There are 2 others in here from the farm, one looks like it may have a near perfect WH seat under some dirt.  They both have stuck slot hitches on them as well, and the 857 slot hitch has been welded on.  That one will be a real pain I think.

There's also another frame, some of a home made loader, and some other little things on a pallet to deal with, the rest of the loader frame is welded to a tractor outside...  Progress is being made so that's a good thing.

I've started on a "Big Sale Page" for the site here.  It can't be seen by the public as of now, it's still in progress.  There's still a lot of work and organizing to here do before that happens let alone the Spring rush is here.

There will be roughly 80 tractors parted out, most of them complete.  NONE WILL BE SOLD COMPLETE, I'm trying to help other peeps with their projects, not create more demand for parts that are already getting hard to find...  A lot of others will also be kept to provide parts for the business.  I can't sell them all, I still have a Wheel Horse business to run lol.

It will probably happen sometime in May or June.  If anyone needs a part we will most likely have it and plenty of them.

I'll keep everyone posted as things progress.

The broken slot hitch from the 654 is cleaned up and ready for the zero turn.  When putting it back down on the ground I noticed the price sticker on the hood,  Funny how they used to do those but it survived for 61 years lol.  Yesterday was also doing a little clean up and removing the stuck slot hitches on the Commando 800 and 857.  The 857 welded on slot hitch mess was not only holding the slot, but the right (small) side of the trans was previously broken.  The weld was holding the top of it too and you could still see the crack on the bottom.  The bad for me I guess is they welded the cast iron the right way with nickel rod...  Not sure why they welded the pin to the slot, you can see in the pic it still had the clip on it.  It made it terribly bad to get apart but as most of you know determination is one of my strongest traits.

I have more pics on the camera, will put them on here Monday.  I've already been out here too much this week and the weekend is here.

Finished up the 857 mess last Sat, it was definitely the worst one I've had to do so far.  Someone also drove in a hitch tongue and welded it in too.   I have plenty of rearend casings and the piece that was broken so that rearend can be saved as well.

At least these 3 have the stuck hitches off of them and I have some more parts to put in stock.  I sell a lot of slot hitches for all the attachments made here for them so it was worth it, let alone the other nice things and super nice seat.

I started on the home made bucket tear down.  There was a front tach-a-matic welded to a handle of some sort, and I still have to deal with the front arms but that will finish up everything I brought in last week before the rain hit.

There was a 60's frame in this mess that got parted out as well, I still have to get the pics off the camera so I'll put that on here later today.
