I didn't see any rust to speak of and old seal came out with no problem........new seal went in fine.....at least the leak at the axel stopped....will check for play...may just get another seal and try that after I get my jeep back on the road.....ordered parts for the 4.7 engine off ebay last night and should be here in a week....here in town parts were over 500 bucks but ebay less than 200 buckaroos....now I have to finish taking engine apart..... :smile2

Seal numbers...11050.....7410....I guess one was bigger than the other and the way things have been going here lately if they could have been put on wrong I am the man that can do it..:smile2
