What's everybody doing?

None of them from Oreilly's works and still waiting to hear from sales reps and manufacturers on what they screwed up... Made in CHINA is what they screwed up...

I ordered a Duralast from Autozone yesterday and it came in this morning, it has the taper and fits! The key to this part is it is made in Mexico and NOT CHINA, and it's a little cheaper than Oreilly's! >( Took 3 minutes to get the steering finished up minus bleeding it after spending a week trying to get a good part somewhere else.

Meanwhile, back at the Wheel Horse Ranch Clint parted out some smaller decks today. After 3 of them he said not so bad, I said I have more, he said bring em on lol. I said, I have about a hundred more on trailers, in the 4 car garage and at the farm that should be parted other than good Tach-a-Matic 42 or 48" decks, so here's 50 or 60 to start off with. I crack myself up sometimes. :rolling

Escalade is all done minus waiting on Magnaflow to send a new Cat back system and deliberating on what to do with the converters. I wanted to take it apart and check for converter debris in the pipes but there was a lot of rust on the "stainless steel" pipe and band clamps, it's only been on the truck for 8 years but looks a lot older than that... I called my exhaust supplier of 25 years where I got it and he said they would have to order one in from CA, they don't sell enough for the Escalade ESV's so they don't stock them anymore but no worries, it has a Lifetime Warranty on it and if 1 piece doesn't act right they just replace the entire system for free, it will be here next week.

Dad's truck came in on a wrecker with a blown oil cooler line yesterday so it's in here now. It does this about every 3 1/2 years. Gotta love the parts out there.

The new exhaust is on, cat pipes are back on, new steering parts are on, just waiting on a new rear O2 sensor that was supposed to come in today but will actually be here tomorrow to test everything out. It didn't survive the chisel trying to get it out, things got awfully hot as you can see from the melted platinum and ceramic...

Other than that we've been cleaning, organizing, and finishing up some outdoor projects. .

NICE PIPES...they should last a long time.....didn't you put headers on that caddie?

It got stainless headers last year in July. I put the original Magnaflow exhaust system on it 8 years ago, it was supposed to be all stainless but from the looks of the rust on the pipes something went South or it wasn't very good stainless. It had a lifetime warranty so this system was free, free is good lol.

well you cant beat free for sure and the headers look great.....................
