We are looking into Indak switch pigtails. I have found the factory blank connector, and the factory terminals. We may make them here or I am in contact with a manufacturer that will build them to my spec as a complete pigtail assy.
Does anyone know where the connector, inserts or pigtail can be bought right now? Just trying to cover the cost basis on this project and make sure I'm in line. The only pigtail I can find is from Stens at 13.00 - 15.00 without shipping, shipping is averaging from 12.00-15.00 on top of that. Now you know why we are looking into this.
The specs I sent to the manufacturer for the quote are -
The connector - part #
The terminals - part #
Lead wires - 5
Wire Gauge - 16
Length - 12"
Wire color and placement can be specified later. The newer ones are mostly black wires, the blackhoods also have a scheme, but I thought of using the pre blackhood scheme, 2-orange, 1-red, 1-green, 1-black.
Would appreciate any help from you guys on this.

Seems like shipping is the big gotcha these days.
Jack's Small Engines has the connector for 3.90 with 7.95 shipping which makes $11.85 just for the plastic connector, no terminals or wire either.

Yeah crazy shipping prices....wouldn't just regular mail be cheaper or is that what they use?Geno wrote: Seems like shipping is the big gotcha these days.

We have a quote and quantities we are satisfied with and are proceeding with a sample. Can you guys that have any pre black hood Indak switch tractors please double check me on this wiring pigtail wire color pic below?
The pic should be the pre black hood wiring scheme, only thing being changed is the light wire will be orange with a white stripe instead of just orange. I will be emailing it to a few of you guys also.

Thought I saw these in the NAPA catalogue for Lawn and Garden.....maybe not but I thought I did....
Would be nice to have one all ready to go....I think they should just all be black though...too many different wiring schemes.....could always ID them with heat shrink....
