Wheel Horse 106825 Hood Latch assemblies are on the way, there should be hundreds of them here this week.
This Wheel Horse 106825 Hood Latch Assy is from the same manufacturer that made them for Wheel Horse + Toro. We are buying them directly from the same manufacturer. They have different options and this one has been upgraded from the original. The brackets are heavier, and the pin has an e-clip and flat washer instead of a cotter pin. If you ever had to drill out a seized up cotter pin you will like this one. And of course like with most of our products they are Made in USA.
They will be in the store as a complete assembled assy and will include the clasp as pictured. We won't be breaking down individual parts on this one unless there seems to be a big demand for that, cost wise it just doesn't make sense to me but we'll see. Considering we will be able to have a sell price for the complete assy for less than 1/2 the price of one Toro assy for a pair of our improved part, that seemed to be the way to go. They are already set up in the store but they won't show until they get here and I publish the page for them.
There is also a stainless steel option for these that we may look into in the future but they come at a higher price of course. We could still sell one of them for less than the Toro part even with our same upgrades if there is a big enough demand, we will see...
I will update this post with a link to the store and let everyone know as soon as they get here. :smile2

They are here and in the store.
They are here - 106825 Hood Latch Assy
Important note -
You won't find a better price that we have found, even for the cheap knockoff's that have a rivet holding the rubber to the bracket instead of a pin and the incorrect clasp or keeper. These are also freshly manufactured parts by the OE supplier, none of this 5, 10, 20, or 30 year old or older rubber that has already started to deteriorate, or anything made offshore. These are all Made in USA.
