Working on a few new things for the Horses.
Someone needed the PTO bearings + seals as did we so we are about to stock them. If you buy them anywhere be careful what you buy, I can find the correct bearing only from Toro and I've looked a lot of places, especially for a USA made part. Most people are selling 2 main bearings for this and they are both incorrect.
The original part was a J type bearing with RPM speeds up to 8600. Most people are selling B type bearings that are only rated to 4300 RPM and have no inner cage, and I found an SCE rated bearing with an inner cage but it was only rated to 7400 RPM. I know the Kohlers don't do that type of RPM but I'm sure there are reasons that they used this bearing even if for nothing more than longevity. We will have the correct J rated bearing in stock next week.
The next thing we are going to start making is the Kohler governor stops. We're working on a tractor that is missing it and they are discontinued so that is why we jumped on that. They will be easy and there's a pic of the beginnings below.

We made up a few and got them painted today. We didn't drill the secondary smaller hole for other applications, we only have Horses around here.
