For sure lol.

The main steering pivot is done and ready to bolt on. I got a little obsessive of course lol.

I ended up using a 1" collar on the bracket so I could use a standard Wheel Horse bearing. I did upgrade the bearing to the same part with what they call an oil hole in it that lines up with the allen screw hole for the collar. It will be a good place for a grease fitting.

I've been going overboard on the steering cause there's a lot of stress there in a short space. The most stressed spots will have bearings, the other spots will have ball joints or a forged joint. I made a bearing to replace the one at the end of the steering shaft today and finalized most of the other pieces.

I had to take the front frame back off to weld the 3/4 rod back in that I took out. I think that's the only mistake I made, so far lol.

The steering is mostly done and she steers pretty easy, it should with the 5 bearings added but there was a lot of stress in this steering design. I was after a small footprint that is hard to notice, and wanted to use all of the the original Wheel Horse steering parts as well. All of the bearings, thrust washers and thrust bearings are the same Wheel Horse parts used in the gear drive decks. There's a little tweaking to do but the hard part is over, I think this will be the hardest part of the whole build.

The front step bar is back in, frame is repainted, and the mid tach-a-matic has been moved forward and put on. Attachments will have to be modified or changed but at least there is an anchor point there for them, or other custom things that can be made to fit it. The steering parts are painted and should get put together later today.

nice and that will be something to see at next show or sooner if i can get down there............maybe for the front tack- a- matic it could be on a plate where it could be adjusted up or down.............:bow1 :smile2

Unless you're coming down to help Nappy the tach-a-matics can stay put lol. :rolling They will hold a front push guard and maybe a winch. I won't be mowing or snow blowing with this one.
