I have an update on the new purchase of an earlier restoration done in 2008. The owner never managed to get all the correct belts for it. I believe it is worth completing.

I would say it is most defiantly worth saving, aren't they all. I like the wide rear tires.

Still trying to figure out what was being lifted in the front? Planter? The Drive Belt is 1576, which is 1/2 x 70. The Belt seems too small? Fun to figure out though!

No, no trouble at all.

There you have it, custom welded back to the cylinder. Also the Drive side, pulleys look right so far.

Hard telling what they did with it. It could lift a dozer blade if it had an arm going down to it. I think it could be made to lift a lot of things. They did a pretty nice job on it whatever it did lol.

I was just informed that the flat idler pulley shouldn't be there at all? That in fact, due to this pulley the 1/2 x 70 Drive Belt is too short? Wheel Horse/Toro Part Number 1576-Stens Part Number 248070
Also, that the Belt would rest on the inside lip of the Belt Guard in order for the clutch to operate correctly. So this also explains why the prior owner had drive issues. Amazing! Fun to learn of how to make it right.
