RJ 58 snow/dirt plow was created by motor12
I've had this plow for a year or so and decided it was time to restore/refurbish it. The reason I have been procrastinating is because I don't want to scratch the paint on the RJ when the plow is installed. I think the plow for the RJ58 is kinda rare so I am going to bite the bullet and get it done. The plow is in fairly good shape, needs a new metal skid strip and a bit of straightening here and there and new bolts. I'm hoping its rare, but anyone who knows different please chime in with the info. The factory brochure from 1958 shows the RJ58 with this plow pushing snow, and it looks cool.

I'm sure there are not too many of those plows left. It will look great after you are done with it....

Just finished going over the plow attachment before getting it media blasted. There were a few areas that needed attention. You can tell quality control was lacking in 1958. the welding was rough and of poor quality, no MIG welding in 58 just an old AC stick weld. But having said that, this equipment was built to last, heck its almost 60 years old and still a working attachment. When its finished I'll post some photos.

The plow and associated parts are completed and have a nice coat of Sunrise Red paint. Just waiting for the paint to dry/harden some what before assembly. Photos to follow...
