How much bacon did you take?
What is the Toro rule on proximity of dealers?

Didn't take any bacon, and I'm sure 7 miles down the road on the same highway would interfere.

With the other suppliers you have I wouldn't worry over it. If there's a buck to be made Toro will be first in line to collect it.

Yeah that sounds about right to me but what if it doesn't happen will that have any impact on your shop?

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

I was very disappointed in Toro to never hear anything back. It just proves even more to me that they are not the company Wheel Horse was, or anything like Wheel Horse at all for that matter. Like everything else, seems the good old days of common sense and good business sense are gone.

We have been going ahead with making parts and doing our own thing as we usually do. I told their National Sales and Regional managers when they were here, they can sell us parts, or we can make them and source them where they do, but this WHS train isn't stopping... Not a big deal for us, we'll just fill the shop with equipment like we've been doing and make them for less than we can buy them, or find the people making the parts for them and source them directly. That's what we've been doing for awhile and there's a lot more coming, especially when the fab shop is completely up. :)
