We had some customer work this morning, then we had a customer that really needed a truck after totaling his and couldn't find anything good, so Sandra's new all fixed up truck was sold and transferred today. Gonna miss it but it was a truck we took in on trade for an Envoy XL we had that she took a liking to. Good thing is the next one she gets will be more exactly what she likes instead of what we happen to take in on trade. The hunt is on. :)

Then this afternoon we went next door to the neighbors and started splitting and loading the tree he had cut down Saturday. We have an entire load on the dually split and stacked right now and maybe another load left. Didn't think there would be that much there, but that's a good thing.

The most fun was splitting with an axe at 93 degrees in the Sun. Guess it will keep me tough and in shape though. :tounge2 The nice thing was there was a really good wind today. :yes

Here's the pile again.

Wood splitting is one thing I gave up as I got past 60. For years I spit 4-5 cords a year. Good exercise, but not in hot summer weather. My hats off to you Geno.

For me, I spent yesterday elbow deep in my 520H chasing an electrical gremlins. After 6 hrs of study, I am now fairly sure I have a bad connection in the safety switch circuit. The microswitches circuit passes just enough current to register 12V on the meter, but not enough to energize the starter relay. I think its on the neutral safety switch. I cleaned it up. Time will tell if I got it, as this always been intermittent.

Have you guys seen the size of his splitter?

I think it could split a car in half...

Today I'm going up to mow the church with my cousin. Lets hope I bring the horse this time because last time he drained the battery when trying to start it up after it died, and forgot to open the fuel line. I still haven't stopped given him crap. (its a JD)

Test lights are better for this type of thing Kurt. Bad connections most times won't light a bulb or dimly light it, vs it looking fine on a meter. The only time I use a meter is to check the charging system voltage. :)

The only time I plan on using that thing is if I hit something 4 or 5 times and it doesn't split with the axe. I like the exercise but I'm not crazy. Well, maybe a little... :rolling

We just got the truck unloaded, going back for more. :)

I like that test light idea. I'll have to make one up. Thanks
