If it turns out the way I'm thinking it's gonna be awesome. :woo

This is coming along nicely. So far there are no tractor modifications at all in the design. I am hoping that this will be a 15 minute install, no cutting, no welding, and will be able to be put back original just as fast and easy. Removal is 2 nuts and 1 bolt for the pin, installation is 1 nut and 2 bolts. I like easy, easy is good lol. :woo

The main bearings will be here for them tomorrow, then I can move on.

I didn't realize the bearing specs, I just saw that it fit well where I wanted to put it... :laughing

Bore Size: 1 Inch
Static Load Rating: 1800 lbs
Dynamic Load Rating: 3100 lbs
Material: Cast Iron
Max RPM: 3400

Well I guess it will never wear out where it's being used now. :tounge2

All that's left to figure is the steering. :thumb

I had to end up cutting the rear pin bracket, there just wasn't enough room in there. Where it is cut between the pin bolt and pin hole will make it easy to put back on in the future if need be. The pin bolt lines it right back up. :yes

I have 1 more steering joint coming in the morning then I think can finish up the steering. There's plenty of room in there now. :thumb1

This has been quite the experience... The steering geometry is perfect if I can just keep the joints away from other things. Every piece that moves causes something else to hit somewhere. :doh

I have the left turn done with the links having about 1/16" clearance at full turn. The right turn needs about 1/16" more clearance but I think I can get that tomorrow, waiting on some nylock jam nuts that will give a little more room in the one spot that I need it. I spent about 2 hours building the main tricycle part and over 20 hours so far getting rod clearance right lol. :laughing

These are pics of the good side.

That was a long time ago for me Justin, 1975 or so. :jump1

The 6" wheels showed today, the Deestone tri ribs are on them and now I have even less room lol. They will be great for larger tractors but a squeeze on this one. What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment. :doh
