The new blaster is in production and getting close! We ordered it on June 4th from BadBoy Basters. The one we ordered is the same one built for Slicks Garage, home garage for the Discovery Channel's show "Highway To Sell", except for ours is powder coated Wheel Horse red of course. You guys can take a peek at it here -

I talked to the BadBoy Blasters owner today who is coordinating all of this. Since this one is a custom build it takes a little longer. They will be finished welding it up on this coming Monday. Tuesday it will be powder coated with the PPG code for Wheel Horse red, then they will send pics to make sure the color is right right before assembly. If the color is good, they will finish assembly and it will ship next week.
Will keep you all updated as things happen next week.

I call my the beast at times, like when its loaded up and your arms are in it for a hour at a time
you buddy passed up the beast and done got the whale that ate joanah
what are you using for air source ? do you have any type of air dryer?
i was always thinking of putting a incline screw conveyor out the bottom to help with clean out.
but i just keep using a old shop vac that i hijacked for the job.

You have a nice one there John.
I have a Devilbiss 80 gal commercial unit. The video on their site is showing removing powder coat as fast as you can go at 80psi. I'm using more pressure than that now and the compressor doesn't run much so this new one should be an even easier load. The unit comes with 2 regulators + 2 dryers, one at each station. There are 4 blasting guns (all foot controlled, 2 guns + 2 stationary that hang from the top) along with 2 regular air guns for blowing things off (1 at each station).
The new one has an industrial vac, makes the same noise as a hair dryer. It has 2 vertical bags that you just shake out then open the drawer under it to empty and that's it. I have them putting the vac on the back of this one along with a wheel kit so we can move it around.

I talked to the girl that answers the phone this afternoon and she went out and took a few pics of it. Seems they have it almost done, I hope they got the color right... They're small but they are pics.
