Mentone Show & Swap: April 25th, 2015

its a short 2 hour drive east for me so i am going. just bringing some mud proof shoes and fresh dry cloths for the ride home.
bad weather means good prices :sissy

I'm a couple of hours south and plan on being there. Here's the latest radar forecast....

All I can say is I hope they're wrong. The wind speeds have increased since last night to 15-25mph. Even at the 46 deg high with an average 20mph wind puts the wind chill at 26.8 degrees. Add rain to that and it makes my head hurt, better dress warm!

I also hear this show is in the middle of a field with no wind blocks or shelter. :surprised

Would love to meet up with you guys will be the main reason we're going. Maybe there's a restaurant we can hang out at for awhile to get out of the weather.

My wife and I were planning to make the trip, but having the little one out in those temperatures is not ideal. Not looking too good, unless we book a nearby hotel so I can run out and take a look around and let she and the baby take in some indoor swimming or something. Hate the bad weather forecast, as I am rarely home on a weekend and really wanted to go. Could use some pieces and parts lol.

Well that sort of did us in. Looks like it will be cold, windy and wet most of the time this thing is going on. If it wasn't for the 11 hours on the road and lack of any shelter it would be a different story... Sandra and I will do about anything but we don't do cold and wet.

I have a hotel reserved in Rochester, 20 minutes SW of Mentone. It has a king size bed, fridge, and microwave that someone can have if they want it, it is already paid for.

Don't mean to be a party pooper but the weather sounds bad and I'm not overly sure about going because of it ......we will see what the weather looks like tomorrow morning then try to decide to go or not.
