I thought others may benefit from this so here goes.

I made a bracket to put on my zero turn for a WH slot hitch a few years ago so here is the process I used to make it.  The front end didn't swivel on this tractor.  This post is the basic design.

My new clipper has a swivel front end and the deck attaches to it.  Pretty ingenuous so the cut on the deck follows the front axle.

Last Sat I punched 2 more holes in the bracket, drilled 2 holes in the tractor, then blasted and repainted the bracket.  Early this morning while it was quiet it got transferred to the new one.  The front step still flips up when the slot hitch has nothing in it, and the deck still flips forward with the slot hitch removed and the bracket still mounted so it worked out really nice.

The tractor has a standard rear hitch on it for pulling things but I like all the attachments I can put in the slot.  It's also easier to use at times and nice to see what's happening with it on the front.  I've come to rely on this hitch a lot and am glad it was able to be used on the new mower.
