I think the sbox-window overlay is to darken what's behind the box to take attention away from the page. The sbox-overlay and display codes bother me more. I'll get in there in a few and change the values and see what it bows up...

No changes AJ. Enabled one at a time and changed visibility to block. I think this problem goes deeper and is affecting all popups. Just downloaded the latest Mootools with an enabler\disabler per module or plugin, no difference there either.

I just changed to a basic template a minute ago and the layout was crap but the modals all worked, even the reply above I made with the quick reply.

I think the reason it's so hard to find is that the code is fine, the template is the problem. :doh

Well its not red now but was earlier......when I go to recent posts or topics is when I get the 404 error.
