WHS Site and Forum Registration. (24 Jul 2018)

I have changed the way registration is done for the site. I deleted over 300 spammers, (and prob a few good ones) last weekend alone. The forum can be seen by all the public and with 15K visitors a day, a lot of them younger people I can't take the chance on something ugly showing up on the site like is happening on the FB sites and other forums. The only pretty full proof way I can think of to keep the place clean is the new way of doing things.

On the front page under the pic it reads, "Due to all the spammers the register link for the WHS Forum has been removed. If you want to sign up for the WHS Forum just give us a call, information is on the contact us page. Thank You."

So that's where we are now lol. You can give me a call at and I can set you up. It's a lot more work for me but I feel it's worth it to keep the site clean :thumb1

Some of you may remember Homer's Lawn Ranger from SC that got restored last year. He bought it new when he was a teenager and used it to mow other peoples yards for extra money. If you don't remember it it's here - Homer's Lawn Ranger Restore

He brought 2 decks here a few weeks ago and I will be taking 2 and making one. There are parts missing from his original deck and there is a little rust in it. They will be going out to the pressure washer today as soon as it warms up. :thumb1

Other than tearing down the spindles and replacing bearings and seals I have all of the best parts ready to make 1 good deck. Rods are straightened, rough edges are off, and all of the rusted in cotter pins are out. I still need to take the good shell out for 1 more pressure washing before it goes in the blaster to get a little grease off that was under the housing, and a few things need to go in the parts washer. Then it will be blasting time. :woo
