Worked on cars most of the day but had a little time and thought I would get the steering all shimmed up and tight, then on to putting all the shiny parts on it. Bottom gear was easy, but when I went to loosen the upper steering collar it was gone... Someone drilled a hole in the shaft and put a bunch of shims there, there was still a good 1/4" of play. So apart it is to fix it right and put a new bushing + collar on it. Hopefully I don't find any more surprises.

Lookin' good Geno. Just remember it can't be any worse off than Pappy's.
