The seal may have been not right when new or something happened putting it on that's just now showing up. Was there any rust where the seal sits? You can also jack it up and grab the wheel and see if it has play in it up and down or forward and back.

I didn't see any rust to speak of and old seal came out with no problem........new seal went in fine.....at least the leak at the axel stopped....will check for play...may just get another seal and try that after I get my jeep back on the road.....ordered parts for the 4.7 engine off ebay last night and should be here in a week....here in town parts were over 500 bucks but ebay less than 200 buckaroos....now I have to finish taking engine apart.....:cof3 :smile2

well it leaks the worse at the brake...I was thinking could I have put the axel seal on the brake and the brake seal on the axel..........?
any ideas on that?

You would never get the brake seal on the axle lol. What were the seal numbers you used?

Seal numbers...11050.....7410....I guess one was bigger than the other and the way things have been going here lately if they could have been put on wrong I am the man that can do it..:smile2
