Nice job!. I was thinking of the horizontal approach too. I like the idea of keeping the weight low. I still might do that.

It also acts as an anti wheel bar, the weights roll free.

Camping weather is finally here in Texas.. So we head to some local lakes for a few days to enjoy the solitude and do some out door cooking. We only go on week days and leave the weekends to the campers with kids.

I had a friend with a huge chain saw so we ended up tackling this Saturday. It was the only big ash tree in the yard, it was killed by the Ash borers. :doh Where we cut it at about 6' up was almost 40" across. There's several loads of wood here. What a job. :whew

We cut up 2 almost that big last year from the neighbors yard and most of it had to be split with a maul and sledgehammer, we'll see on this one when it warms up some this week. Good thing is dead ash burns like good hard oak. :)
