c-120 hood pivot pin was created by briankd
the hood on my c-120 over the years the vibration has worn out the pivot pin and was debating best way to fix it . was told by a fella to just drill it out bigger and put 3/8 bolts in it and don't use a pin. I thought of trying to get some automotive door hinge bushings to fit but pin still worn . anyone have any thoughts on this ?? I been looking for some bigger round stock to make new pin but haven't found none yet
the hood latch rod also worn out and was going to get piece of round stock and make a new one. weld the oblong holes in hood and redrill them same with lever slot it 3 times bigger than it should be.

Morning Brian. Do you have a local welding shop nearby? They usually carry all kinds of metal stock. :)
