Wow... You can almost fit an entire Lawn Ranger in that thing!

How nice it would be to have that thing.

Good find Geno!

This is an industrial unit Nappy. The system filters, screens and refills the pot automatically, no manual labor involved, just blast away. With these types of units there is also more technology available to make things even faster, specialty nozzles and other things that the other one can't handle. :)

Went to the local welding shop yesterday morning and started digging through the scrap pile for a bargain. I found some really heavy floor grating. Got the grating cut into sections that fit and installed them yesterday, we can put anything we want on this floor. I made it in 3 sections so we can pull one section out to do taller things more easily.

Thanks GT. :rolling3

Replaced the cheap switch with a 20 amp (it runs the blaster motor also) and got the light fittings all in. Wanted to do something fancier with the wiring but in this environment you never know when you may have to change one. It's like the sun in there. :woo

Wow Gene! That is one fantastic machine you have there. I've used a number of these in industry, they are leaps and bounds above the Horror Freight units. Wish I could justify one.

Keep us posted,

Enjoy,

Kurt

It's pretty big. :woo

Today it got wheels so it's easy to move around if we have to. We also did a little plumbing work and got it all ready to hook up to the shop air. The glass and glass protectors are in. I went to the local hardware store for some pipe fittings and asked if they had any plexiglass. The store didn't but one of the employees had some 1/4" plexiglass he was getting ready to throw away so he ran home and got it, it was free! We made a few extra upper lenses because the original was destroyed and have a big sheet left over. :)

We hooked up each piece and it all seems to work. Just waiting on some new gloves, venturi nozzle, plate + gasket for the blast hose, and a drum of plastic media. I still need to make a top entry kit for the hose so it comes in from the top instead of the bottom where it is now. That will at least get it working and we can deal with whatever else it may need afterwards. Hopefully that will all be here the first of the week.
